On Tuesday, October 27th, students, staff members, community members and donors celebrating the opening of Camino Nuevo’s latest campus with a ribbon cutting event. The ribbon cutting celebrating the long-awaiting opening of the permanent home for the Kayne Siart Campus, previously the Harvard Campus. During the event, Ms. McManus, Senior Principal, thanked and honored the Kayne Family Foundation and Bill Siart for their generous contributions to the school.
The school celebrated the ribbon cutting with a dance by 2nd graders in Ms. Villanueva’s class, a piano performance by 6th grade student Daphe G. and a Tango by Ralph and Anne Marie as well as speeches by founder Philip Lance, Donor and Board Member Bill Siart, Chief Executive Officer Ana Ponce, and Board President Mark Dalzell. In additional, CNCA Kayne Siart received recognition from Monica Garcia’s office for the accomplishments in serving students for the past fifteen years in the MacArthur Park Neighborhood.
